Walking through sparse villages, farm terraces and forests we reach to the Dhampus hill after few hours of walk from Pokhara. A close face to face view of a long range of Annapurna and other mountains greets us on reaching Dhampus. We enjoy the amazing sunsets on the Himalayas in the evening and sunrise next morning, a scenery that you will treasure for long. Next day we walk back downhill through equally scenic route and catch a vehicle for Pokhara.
Dhampus Australian Camp Tour which is also known as short trek from Pokhara starts after an hour driving from Pokhara city to Phedi. Phedi is a small village and one of famous trekking starting points in Annapurna trekking region. Dhampus Australian Camp Trek offers you to observe beautiful slate roofed houses in Dhampus Village where you will see multi-cultural and multiethnic groups living together sharing their culture and way of lives.
Trip Itinerary
Take a good leisure breakfast in Pokhara then we will take car/cab drive to Kande via Sarangkot/Phedi which takes about 1.25 hours then we hike up to Australian Camp through the forestry uphill from Kande. 1.5 to 2 Hour of walk will bring us to beautiful spot of Australian Camp. Now, Along the journey we can see very impressive view of Annapurna Range including Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South Hiuchuli, Annapurna II and IV and Lamjung Himal etc. We can go excursion to beautiful village of Pothana. Overnight in trekking lodge. Meals

From Australian Camp hike down through the forestry slightly descending trail to Dhampus and continue walk to Phedi passing through terraced farm lands in lower Dhampus village and then descend down the steep stone staircase at the end of trek there our car will be waiting for us to take back to Pokhara.
